Hi, I'm
Linda and I would like to welcome you to Vanderford Crest Farms, where
my husband Newt and I coexist with our beautiful herd of purebred
Nigerian Dwarf Goats and our sixteen year old daughter, Jessica. Vanderford Crest is located just outside of Excelsior Springs,
Missouri. For those of you not familiar, it is a small Midwest
farming community approximately thirty minutes northeast of Kansas
City.
It
was because of my deep love for the farm life and Newt's willingness
to allow me to follow my dream that we purchased our first babies from
our now "goat friend", Phil Moss of Oklahoma City (thanks Phil for
some very beautiful babies - you need to check out Phil's site at "The
Tyny Goat Ranch"
in Oklahoma City).
Each year we have added not
only to our herd but also our hearts and knowledge to raise truly
special purebred Nigerian Dwarf Goats.
I
am a member of the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA), the American Goat Society (AGS), and
the American Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goat Association (ANDDA). I
encourage all Nigerian Dwarf owners and breeders to join and support,
not only national, but also local organizations, breed clubs and
events.
